About Okinawa - Southernmost Prefecture in Japan
Consists of 160 islands, only 49 of them are inhabited and because of the difficulties in reaching places, Okinawa is full of unspoiled nature including forests with many endangered species, oceans with magnificently clear visibility and pristine sand beaches.
Almost five hundred years of independent kingdom in a past, Okinawa offers very original lively culture as well as relaxed, laid-back local Okinawan people compared to the rest of Japan which makes a great place to visit especially when you are on vacation.
